Im super excited for this,. mi companera dijo how come they didnt have this for me, Im leaving in three months! ha Today for pday we went to volcan and it was super cool, Im including pictures of this week and for last week so dont worry. Love, Hermana Ontiveros Interpretation: Her companionship was taken to Tony Roma's for dinner. They have been reading a lot. She is teaching a family that has ten children. Eight are at the age of eight. She has a prospective baptism on July 27th. He has not been able to come to church because of work. She visited the Volcano in El Salvador and it was beautiful. She asked that we pray for her investigators and their commitment to be baptized. She plays tag with the children. She has an investigator that wants to learn English. She will find out this week if she will help open the new mission in Beliez. Pray for her.

Hermana Sanchez y yo have been having problem with finding investigadors and we werent having much success with our menos activos, pero con el ayuda del Senor, we have had much success this week that I hope we continue to have for the weeks to come. Hermana Sanchez y yo recibimos mucho ayuda de los miembros del barrio por menos activos referencias y por referencias por nuevo investigadores. We had our menos activos come to church on Sunday and they were all welcomed by everyone. One experience that I had this week that was really amazing was when we shared leccion 1 con nuestra investigador. At first it was crazy because her family kept coming in and out of the house and then it started pouring and just crazy things were happening during the lesson and I thought she was never going to understand what was going on, but the Lord always comes through. I said the first vision in Spanish and when Hermana Sanchez and I shared our testimony about the church our investigador (Marta) started crying because she felt the spirit so strong. Unfortunately she didnt come to church with us this week, but we taught her yesterday and we talked to her about what she thinks about the church and she likes our lessons, she just has a hard time understanding why her bautismo isnt valid, entonces this week we are going to stress the importance of el sacerdocio. Tenemos 4 nuevo investigadores which is fantastic, and we have one investigador (Eduardo) with a fecha bautismal. On Wednesday we had intercambios and it was really cool because Hermana Perry taught me a lot about how to do better with my contacting, planning, and how to have better confidence in myself when I teach. What else happened this week..oh yeah I learned how to make pupusas which was pretty cool, and I made platinos fritas, mi favorita alimiento aqui! ha Espero que todos esta bien at home and that you are all doing well. Thanks for the emails, the support, and for your love. Again happy fathers day to my wonderful dad! I love you all! Love, Hermana Ontiveros

Hola familia como estan? This week had its hard moments but in the end it went very well. This week we had a couple of changes the first being that we now have the misionary enfermerias living with us because they are training for the new mission. Its weird living with other people in our house but its good because they are Nortes so they help me out a lot when I have a question about the mission or how to say something in spanish. ha Hermana Sanchez and I are doing well, she definitely helps me a lot, Im so greatful for her example. The other change was that on Friday we had the opportunity to go to the temple. The session was all in Spanish so it was a bit difficult but it was good and I really felt the spirit so strong. Inside the temple is so gorgeous and like the Salt Lake temple you have different rooms that you move through. I had such a great experience there, Im so grateful that I have a templo en mi mision. This week weve been working with members of the ward and with an investigator familia. They are planning to go to noche de hogar with us tonight at the casa de obispo so hopefully they will follow through with that. Other than that its been basically the same here. Im still doing well and Im so greatful for all of your love and support. Have a great week!
Love,
Hermanan Ontiveros

Que tal familia? He sido en mi mision por dos meses a hoy, solo 16 mas meses! haha Well Ive learned a lot from just these past two months and I figure that I will be learning even more in the coming time. This week was really good, through prayer and hard work I have been able to understand more spanish and my companera y yo are doing well. Weve been getting along great and weve made some fun memories. Hermana y Hermano Utt are new missionaries to this area and they went with us twice this week to teach a couple of our investigadores and our lessons went really well. Theyre always calling us to see when they can go with us to teach because they love being able to help the sisters. And theyre super nice, before we go to teach they always invite us to thier house first for some time of treat which is always fantastic. Each week I want to try and tell you about what I have learned so my first week en El Salvador I learned the importance of faith. Mi segundo semana I learned the importance of having a bien actitude, y este semana yo aprendi la importancia de miembros de barillo cuando it comes to teaching. My first couple of weeks the members didnt really do much with us but this week they did alot. I had meals at about 4 different houses this week and the members have been really helpful for references and to help bring menos activos to the ward. This week I had two really great spiritual experiences. The first happened on Friday when I shared my testimony to Christian about the importance of the church in my life. I talked about how my mom served a mission and about how my dad is a convert and because of thier choices I have been blessed with the gospel en mi vida and I am here to help others have the same happiness that I have. Another experience that I had was yesterday when we taught Hermanas Quintanillas, they are three sisters whose mother died and they have become menos activos. Mi companera y yo shared DyC25 with the sisters and we watched the movies about the struggles of Emma Smith. We talked about we are all elect ladies chosen to help in the lords work and that he loves us and is here to help us progress. The lesson was really good and the girls are going to really try to come to church. Well I believe that is all for this week but anyways have a good week!
Love,
Hermana Ontiveros :)
