Buenas Noches! To start off, I did get my care package, thanks for the
letters and for sending me my Visa! Looking at the Mickey Mouse cards
made me miss Disneyland, but dont worry I really liked the cards! We
got to write early this week because we have busy pday mañana! Its sad
because a lot of mis amigos that I have met these last couple of weeks
are leaving out to the field tomorrow morning. I know they need to go,
but I am going to miss them so much, they were awesome friends to me!
Oh so on Saturday a grupo de primary children y young men/young women
came to the CCM to take a tour. The kids were so adorable, especially
this little boy in his suit con el placa! It was fun being able to
talk to them and it was so cute when they sang Soy nino de Dios para
nosotros! I love little kids, I cant wait to see more of them when I
enter the field, and to work with them when I get back. This week we
had to teach lecciones de evangelio en Español which was muy muy
deficil porque yo se que puedo enseñar en Ingles, pero putting it en
Español was what made it difficult. I just got done teaching a lesson
tonight to another districto and it actually went pretty well. Mi
Español es improving, pero yo tengo muchas ayudar! This last Sunday
was my first real Sunday en le CCM and it was pretty busy. We have two
sociodad de soccoros, uno sacrament meeting, we watched El
Testimiento, Legacy, and a fireside given by Elder Bednar which was
pretty good. So for sacrament meetings everyone has to prepararse un
leccion porque no one knows who is going to be picked to speak and it
has to be in Español! Luckily I didnt have to speak this week, but who
knows what will happen this upcoming Domingo! As I said early, a grupo
de Nortes, y Latinos are leaving tomorrow to enter the field which
means that en Miercoles I will no longer be a newbie. Mis primera dos
semanas are in oh yeah! ha Apparently we are going to be getting 40
nuevo Latinos y 50 nuevo Nortes...so many Nortes! Ive actually met
some pretty great Latino/as here in the CCM and Im sad that they only
stay for dos semanas porque they are so nice and fun to be around.
Hopefully the new grupos coming in are going to be great as well! Mi
compañera y yo are doing very well. We get along pretty great, weve
had lots of laughs these past couple of weeks and weve been there to
support each other. Ill admit Ive been missing home, pero yo se que
that I need to keep pushing forward. The Lord needs me en El Salvador,
I just have to make it quatro mas semanas en el CCM and I will get to
start serving him the best that I can. I think the hardest thing for
me right now is trying to teach a lesson in simple terms because there
are so many things in each leccion that needs to be taught that its
hard to know what to include and what not to include. On Friday, as a
districto, we went over to a chapel by the templo and each
companionship was given a less active member to teach. Mi comapñera y
yo were given a 13 year old girl. She was so sweet and we tried our
best to teach her a leccion, but Im sure she thought we were a mess
because she didnt know any Ingles so we had to do it all en Español.
We taught her about praying and being dilligent in going to church con
ella familia. We asked her about church and she actually sang her
favorite hymn for us which was super adorable. Thats it, Im bringing a
child home with me because theyre just so dang cute! haha Im glad to
hear that all is well at home, and I cant believe youre so close to
being done with school, thats so crazy! Mads picture was really good,
she looked beautiful...oh and nice dress! lol I believe I have
everything I need at the moment, were actually making a walmart run
for pday tomorrow, but if I think of anything I will let you know! For
pday tomorrow we are going to el parque, walmart(dads favorite place
;) ) the mall, and el templo all in one day. Crazy I know, but I like
being able to leave el CCM every once in a while because you really go
crazy being in one place for a long time..no joke we are all pretty
dilusional and its only going to get worse..we laugh at the dumbest
things! ha Oh well I guess thats what makes it fun! So I dont know if
Ive told you this before, but all of the people that I have met in the
CCM I feel like I have met them somewhere before.. the veil must be
really thin during a mission because its really crazy how well we all
get along and how well we all seem to know eachother.. crazy but I
like it! My companion is from Arizona and she is very great! Well I
have to go know, but I love you all and I am so greatful for your
support and love! Again please let my friends know that I cant email
them, but that they have to send me letters. Caro sent me an email so
please let her know! ha I love you all so much, I miss you! Please
continue to be the amazing people that you are! Again I love you! Hna

Hola familia! I dont have much time to talk today but I thought I
would just let you know that I am well and that if you plan to send
regular mail other than emails to me it is better to do them through
dear elder because they will most likely get here in uno semanas
rather than dos semanas. Guatemala es muy bontia, and the MTC here is
actually called the CCM(centro de capatacion misionaries)! I hope that
all is well back home and that I hear from you soon! I am only allowed
to email family so if my friends want to send me something let them
know that they have to send it through dear elder, or through the
email address to the CCM. Mi Español es mas o menos, pero it will get
better through time. It feels like I've been here for a week already
and yet it has only been tres dias! I've been told that los dias go by
slowly while las semañas go by muy rapido! I can't wait to finally be
in El Salvador! Oh yeah mi compañeras nombre es Hermana Chant y ella
es vaya El Salvador too which is great because there are about 20
Elders pero only tres Hermanas en mi group. Ayer mi compañera y yo
enseña nuestro primero investigatadora which was very interesting, but
I think it went well. Gracias por the support! Te quiero todos!! : )
